Abstract: This letter is part of the correspondence between the Bass Biological Laboratory and various political and governmental figures, particularly at the United States Bureau of Fisheries. These letters include the exchange of data, materials, and information on biological subjects and problems during the 1930s. This letter to Elmer Higgins, presumably from John F. Bass Jr., provides an update on species identifications, research at the Bass lab, and requests a publication from the U.S. Bureau of Fisheries. The item also mentions silver mullet.
