Abstract: This letter is part of the correspondence between the Bass Biological Laboratory and various political and governmental figures, particularly at the United States Bureau of Fisheries. Bass Jr. discusses a member of the Bureau, Lewis Radcliffe, needing a temporary job due to political changes and the stock market crash.
