Abstract: This item is part of a series of forms, applications, and correspondence regarding the rationing of goods at the Bass Biological Laboratory and the Zoological Research Supply Company during the years leading up to, and the beginning of, World War II. The Bass Biological Laboratory was a fully functioning research laboratory as well as a biological collecting and field station. The lab was located in Englewood, Florida, and operated during the 1930s and 1940s along with a profit-making subsidiary, the Zoological Research Supply Company. L. A. Werry signed this ration book identification issued to Else J. Bass by the United States Office of Price Administration.
