Abstract: This report describes a project with a goal to develop a reference library of fatty acids found in prey species of bottlenose dolphins in west, central Florida; to assess fatty acid constituents of dolphin blubber taken from various locations in a dolphin's body; and to correlate fatty acid signature analyses with stable isotopes of carbon and nitrogen.
