Abstract

This is the third part of a four part series of articles discussing the history of Mote Marine Laboratory. These articles are part of the 40 year anniversary celebration of Mote, and each article discusses one decade of history. This article covers 1975-1985, describing the construction and opening of the Lab's new facility on City Island, and expansion of research and educational activities.
