Abstract: Poem about the capture of a shark by Adolphe Elwin, John Bass, and Stewart Springer for the Bass Biological Laboratory. The Bass Biological Laboratory was a fully functioning research laboratory as well as a biological collecting and field station. The lab was located in Englewood, Florida, and operated during the 1930s and 1940s.
