Abstract: This item is part of a series of records relating to the acquisition of chemical supplies used by the Bass Biological Laboratory. The Bass Biological Laboratory was a fully functioning research laboratory as well as a biological collecting and field station. The lab was located in Englewood, Florida, and operated during the 1930s and 1940s. This item is produced by the Treasury Department alcohol tax unit describing the procedures for obtaining tax-free alcohol for the laboratory.
