Abstract: This item is part of a series of letters concerning research on the depletion of oyster beds in the greater Englewood area due to a parasitic flatworm, commonly referred to as an 'oyster leech.' This letter to John F. Bass Jr. refers him to the United States Bureau of Fisheries for information on oyster parasites.
